Everyone seen the pictures of how Jesus look. Now why would God come down to earth in that in image? Wouldnt this make every race of people that is not the same as Jesus feel inferior to that race of people? Would that make people feel not equal to other races?

I see people answering by saying he didnt. He didn't what? There are many many Christians that think Jesus is GOD. So if Jesus is God then that mean God sent himself to earth.

They are no specific picture of Jesus. The bible has no physical description of Him. What we see today are just imagination of artist who is trying to represent Jesus face during the middle ages.
And why God sent His son to earth. To be an example to us all . He came down in human form, just like us. To show what we really capable of . And show our real potential and purpose of why He ( God ) created us in the first place.

I believe Jesus is God in human form. He sent Jesus to give people a chance to get to heaven because He loves us and wants to save us! That is why I think He is so awesome. He wants you to be saved! And if you knew the teachings of Jesus, you would know that looks don't matter.

ThIs is why Jesus had to come to earth.

The Bible says when we die there will be a day of Judgement, all thoughts words and deeds will be brought to light and there will be nothing hidden from his Holy eyes. The Ten Commandments will be God's standard so let's look at a few.

Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we’ve only looked at three of the Ten Commandments.
What a shock! Nothing you’ve ever done is hid from His holy eyes. Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty, and the Bible says If God Judges you according to your sin you could end up in Hell. That’s not God’s will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven.
He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so pray something like this: "Dear God, I repent of all of my sins (confess them). This day I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen."

God did not come down to earth as Jesus, but He did send His Son. Jesus most likely looked Jewish, like His mother. The paintings were mostly done by Italian or other white Rennaissance artists, who painted according to either their whims or the whims of the local Catholic bishop.

Jesus was a hustler, just like all the other freaks that say they are the son of god. No one believes them. This guy just happend to be a really good liar. Not to mention that people were really dumb 2000 years ago.

The answer to your question, according to Jesus himself, and the prophet Paul:

1) God came to speak to us in person, because we ignored the prophets.

2) God came in human form to show us that it wasn't unreasonable for a human to obey God's commands (Jesus did it, so the life of Jesus is proof that God is not asking us to do anything that he himself did not do). No more excuses for disobedience.

3) God made himself a human to show us once and for all that he understands our weaknesses and how we feel -- so that we can feel "confident" enough to approach "the throne of grace" in prayer when we are weak and ask God for help without fear of rejection.

4) Finally, God came in human form, because only a human could pay the penalty for human sin. The Bible teaches that it is "impossible for the blood of goats and sheep" to atone for sin. And no other human could pay the penalty for human sin, because a human would be suffering for his own sin (the Law of Moses allows only an innocent to pay the penalty for the guilty -- and only God is truly innocent, because only God is truly good).

Maybe God has come down to other cultures and races as their own image: ie, Muhammed, Buddha, the Hindu Gods, etc.

Jesus was probably Jewish. And no, they shouldn't feel inferior at all! I don't. Jesus came down for spiritual reasons. Not for looks.
