It comes down to knowing someone well enough. After knowing my husband for 2 months there's no way I could have said he's absolutely faithful. But now, after knowing him for 9 years, knowing what kind of person he is, what his mentality is, I can say with absolute certainty that he's 100% faithful to me. (Plus, I *do* know his every move. And he knows mine. We respect each other enough to let each other know what we're doing.)

That's the whole point! You'll never know his every move that's why trust has to exist in order for a relationship to work. If there is even a teeny tiny suspicion that this guy is cheating, then you do not have trust. That means this guy's behavior is causing you to think about his every move because you cannot trust him. A guy has to make you feel comfortable every day, otherwise, why be in a relationship?

Believe it or not, some of us men are actually trustworthy and tell the truth, As are some of you women. Everybody gets hurt by untrustworthy people but you can't let it ruin your life. I have been burned many times, by women, by friends and in business deals. If I let it affect me by becoming entrusting, then I have allowed someone else to control me and ruin my life. I refuse to allow that. I believe it is right to trust people and I will continue to do so. I will be my own person.

You wanted me to keep it real so here we go...You are absolutely right and I hate it when people say "I know my man ain't doing nothing wrong because I know where he's at and what he's doing when he's not with me."

That is so not true. All you know is what he TELLS you he is doing when you aren't together. And that's it. But all you can do is trust him. And that's why I have trust issues now, because I trust people as far as I can throw them.
