If it is HIS son then leave him alone.
If it isn't then you must inform the parents.
Parents should control their children, not the government.
The US is the ONLY country in the WORLD that sets their drinking age to 21.
(see http://www2.potsdam.edu/hansondj/LegalDrinkingAge.html)
It's no wonder we have such a high number of alcohol issues in America.
Let the kids drive when they are 15 ... give them 6 years to "master" driving ... then let them drink alcohol for the first time.
Sounds ridiculous don't it.
I say let kids DRINK at 15 and let them go through all the stages of learning to drink,
THEN at 18 give them the keys to 2000 pounds of glass and steel that can travel over 100 miles/hour.
Still not the safest thing in the world, BUT at least they know the effects of alcohol BEFORE they get behind the wheel of a car.
People need not rely on the government so much when it comes to their kids and actually TRY and be parents.
And if it IS your kid that he is giving beer too, then stop him. For heavens sake it’s YOUR kid.
And if it is NOT your kid and he IS the father, then mind your own business. I am sure you don’t do everything in life by the letter of the law. He is exercising his right as a parent. Which is something we need more of nowadays.

I had the same problem with my spouse offering wine to my kid. Fortunately my kid listened when I said wine had 100 calories in a glass and make you eat more, which causes weight gain. It was a big turn off for my kid. You may try that. If they still do it behind your back, tell your boy to drink it only on Friday or Saturdays. And ask your spouse to cooperate reason being it might affect his sleep and school work. During the summer, compromise and say something like three times a week. If you completely oppose to it, they may get defensive.

Who is the 15 year old boy. A relative? No conciencous adult who is resposible should give any teen beer or any other type of drink with booze.Just put your foot down and tell your husband No. Take the beerand pour it out. Do not be a willing partcipant in supplying booze to a minor!

if it's light beer don't get hot headed because light beer is very weak and it really doesn't do any damage. Now if it's normal or heavy beer don't let him drink those types of beer till atleast he's 17 or 18.

Take control of your house and the kids in it. If you feel that strongly about it, why is your spouse doing this? You may have larger issues than just his/her contribution to the deliquency of a minor...

Talk to your spouse and let them know thay you feel very strongly against it. Also remind him that it's illegal and he could go to jail.
