because it never works out and just reminds me that she is a flake.

You did the right thing in telling her to not contact you,as you are the one that know her best. It is best to tell her out straight how you feel, than to make her feel you two have a chance of making back.
Once things are not working out it is best to leave and to move on. I just hope she is not some psycho chick, that will try and make your life miserable.

You probably did the right thing. If she is really a flake why do you want to waste time with her? If she is not a flake you still did the right thing because now she can find someone that really cares for her.

If you really mean it then yes, you did the right thing. Just leave her be, eventually she will move on to other people and so will you. Honesty is always best, I applaud you for being honest. So few men are today.

If you don't like her at all.............. then you did the right thing and told her how you felt. Don't feel bad; its better than avoiding her.
If you like her even a little............. then you won't be able to see her ever again.
