the only way to tell would be if you injured your self while doing it. In other words using something harmful to masturbate with...for females that would be foreign objects, for males it could be chemical lubricant like shampoo or something. But other than that know one would know...Don't be shy about it either. That's your body...get to know it. Its the safest form of sex in the world...(no std"s) and it can be far more gratifying than actual intercourse.
Some people would be embarrassed if caught doing it but honestly wouldn't you be just as embarrassed if you were caught having sex.

I would say a doctor might be able to tell for sure if you masturbate. He will probably assume you do though, just like most guys.If he asks you about it, tell the truth. He may need to know. He probably won't ask. Even if he does, there's nothing to worry about. He's a professional.
