It depends on how many calories you eat per day. The nutrients protein, carbohydrates, and fat have different amonts of calories per gram. Protein and carbohydrates have four calories per gram, fat has nine. You breakdown of protein/carbohydrates/fat should be 40%/40%/20% of your calorie intake. So for example if you eat 2000 calories a day your breakdown of pro/carb/fat would be 200/200/45 so you should eat about 45 grams of fat. But to be healthy you must make sure those come from good sources of fat such as nuts and olive oil and dairy.
