The chicken came first,without the chicken there was no egg.Now people may say "there had to be a egg to lay the chicken that layed the egg."It's all just a big circle of confusion.God made the sun,the ocean and animals,he placed two chicken on this earth,not two chicken eggs.

Think evolution. No species on earth is what it used to be so neither are chickens. The chicken actually "hatched" as a mutation of some other prehistoric bird (type creature) so of course the egg would come first.
Obviously what ever predated the chicken wasn't as adapted as the present bird - survival of the fittest right?!
