How do I know God is real? I am so scared of death..I'm only 13.?

learn about Islam. it teaches u how to live a life in which u see the presence of God in every living thing. look at the sky, trees, animals. man can make skyscrapers but they can never make something or someone with a soul and spirit. this life is only a test to discover and worship God. it is very short and death is around the corner--its just reality. we have eternity to live in the afterlife so make a good decision now. Believe in God.

You don't know if God is real. You just have to believe. It's called faith. Everyone is scared of death, at least a little, because they don't know what comes afterword. It's okay to be afraid though. You just have to tell yourself that it's a long ways away and that it's already happened to many people. I suggest reading the bible, if you haven't already. When I was your age I had the same fears, so my parents suggested that I read the bible. It provided me with hope, and gave me something to believe in.

Death is inevitable, that's why you have to push it out of your mind and think about all of the time you have left.

I don't care how old you are if you are afraid of death then, the Holy Spirit has been dealing with you. All you need to do, is ask Jesus into your heart and life right now, please, before it is too late. Read Romans 10:9-13 King James Bible, and do what it says. God will take it from there. You need to prove whether God is real or not! Someone saying He's real cause I feel Him in my heart is not proof. They may just have gas! You see God is real but don't take my word for it!
The theory of evolution takes theory for fact. You should study this out. In your study pray & ask God (if He's there) to help you. This study will take time. Go to this website they have great information on proof that God is real. You can read it on line. You can email them & ask them a question about God & they will help you. Email me if you want & I'll help all that I can. Death is real also but Jesus Christ has the keys to eternal life.

You can find out if God is real if you pray to Him and believe that he will answer your prayer..Then when he does youll know it was Him and youll know for yourself He exists. Its ok to be scared of death but, You dont have to be. God knows if you are a good person and will accept you for the person you are.. Also death is something that happens to us all, its a part of life , All you can really do about it is be a good person so that when you do die, you will be on Gods good side.

You are very young to be thinking about such things but the Bible says that death is like being in a deep sleep without dreams. Jesus's friend Lazarus had died and this is the account at Luke 11:11-14: "These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. The Bible tells us that the dead do not feel anything
Eccl.9:10: " For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing--"
So the dead are not suffering--only in a deep sleep until God through his Son resurrects them back to life and there will be a resurrection of both good & bad people. Acts 24:15: "And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
Hell is the common grave of mankind--Jesus has the keys of death and hell. He will resurrect all who are in hell and then they will be judged--some to everlasting life and the rest will be put out of existance. God is love and would never torture imperfect humans-
Satan tries to paint God as sadistic and cruel. But our Creator is a God of love and is very real. This we know by all the wonderful things he has made.

Why are you afraid of death at thirteen? As far as knowing whether or not God is real, no one can answer that. Belief in God is a matter of faith. I hate to sound pessimistic here, but death is inevitable, fearing it is a waste of your time. I hope that helps you.

There is nothing to fear, sweetheart. Don't listen to those who say there is no God. The bible says that "a fool says in his heart there is no God" in the book of Psalms. God is awesome and He is actually realer that anything around us. The bible tells us to draw near to Him and He will draw near to us. What this means is that through prayer and talking to Him, learning to trust what the bible says and getting good bible teaching either from a friend, relative, a bible teacher, Pastor or you can use the Internet ( http://www.biblegateway.com and http://www.streamingfaith.com ). If you believe that Jesus, the Son of God died and rose again to give you eternal life, and ask Him to save you, then when you die, your spirit will enter eternal paradise. That is hard to understand just by reading the words, you must read the bible and remember: faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. Faith is believing in what you cannot see.
