Their blood is still Black, so I'd imagine that their race would be, too. But guess it would be up to them in the end.

My first grade teacher was an albino Black woman (red hair, golden eyes), and nobody knew it until she died when I was in third grade. Her four very large, very black brothers came from Philly for the service, and that's when everyone found out. My grandfather laughed his *** off at how shocked people were, because she was the long-time favorite teacher in our whole town. This was the early 1960s, and things were different then.

So I suppose they can "pass" if they choose to, or feel the need for it. But it does not essentially change what their racial makeup is.

If you are asking in regards to checking with nationality/race an individual is...then a black albino would be black, because despite the lack of skin color the individual's family history is the same in regards to race/nationality.

What? Are you asking if a black person is albino, is his/her skin color white? Yes. I believe the hair is also no longer black and is also whitish gold.

Race goes a heck of a lot deeper than skin color.
Behaviour, intelligence, resistance/susceptibility to certain diseases...
Being albino does not change your genes. Just look at Michael Jackson.

A black Albino has pale skin, pale blue eyes and pale white skin. There heredity is still *******, so they would be black (or should I say African American). A white person is Caucasoid. Check your anthropology not philosophy.

The skin and hair are white while the eyes are pink. That is true of any albino.

"Albinism affects people from all races. Most children with albinism are born to parents who have normal hair and eye color for their ethnic backgrounds. Often people do not recognize that they have albinism.

A common myth is that by definition people with albinism have red eyes. In fact there are different types of albinism, and the amount of pigment in the eyes varies. Although some individuals with albinism have reddish or violet eyes, most have blue eyes. Some have hazel or brown eyes."
