What a great question! Probably self-hatred at the root of it. It is kind of funny when you think of all the women(and men) carving themselves up to reflect an image being spewed out by ad agencies just to sell products. The reality of it is, regardless of facial features, the things that make us want to be around another person in the long run just can't be seen at first glance.
I take it from your question that you are going to retain the beautiful features that God gave you to begin with. Good for you!
More of us need to abandon the quest for surface beauty and look for things in ourselves and others that will stand the test of time.
If we are lucky, and we live to be old, physical beauty will fade. That would be a good time to have developed traits that make us a joy to be around. More than that, what a gift to be able to look at an old, wrinkled woman through the eyes of genuine love. That's the way I'll be looking at my wife when the day comes.
Thank you for your question. God bless you!

I haven't heard of anyone having plastic surgery to look like someone else, but I guess it's possible. Our face makes us different from others thank goodness. It would be horrible if we all had the same face. What really makes us different and unique is what we do and who we are. What we contribute to our family, friends and country is where we can really be unique. (oh, and fat lips, sorry had to throw that in)

Because they dont want to be unique and different they want to be like everyone else and not stick out. They get their face done like Pam Anderson or Carmen Electra because they are sex symbols and everyone thinks they are beautiful, most woman have very low self esteem and want to look like some one that every one thinks is hot, so they dont have to worry about their imperfections. They dont realize that our imperfections make us beautiful.

Maybe because they don't like their natural uniqueness or feel they can be more attractive if they had a different nose or cheek implants. Personally, I wouldn't want a knife anywhere near my face.

I dunno. Plastic surgery grosses me out. I wish understood most people who bend themselves into a pretzel trying to be "normal." I'm not normal and I'm perfectly ok with that!
