No I wouldn't think that's too early but to protect yourself from your hissy neighbor, check with city hall or police to find out about your local noise ordinances. They can tell you what time frame is acceptable. Then if 9:00 a.m. is OK, you can inform your neighbor next time he/she complains.

No, but for people who stay at home in the morning, it could be a problem. Granted, you can mow the lawn anytime you want, but if you want to avoid any future hissy fits, maybe you can do it just before sundown or on the weekends - when most people expect it.

I think it is too early to mow the lawn...my brother gets home from work around 1:30 a.m. and need his sleep, right? It's better if you mow the lawn when the sun is about to go down.

first, check your neighboorhoods time frame for noise ordainance. some places have one that lasts til 10 am (at least where i am)
check on that, if it is 9 am then mow away, the neighbor needs to get up and start the week anyway
i go to work around 8 and people are mowing all over the neighborhood

absolutely not!! we have a neighbor that mows his lawn as early as 6 a.m., and sometimes as late as 10 p.m.
i say, let him have his hissy fit, and if he doesnt like when you mow your lawn, invite him to do it for you, thenn sit under a shade tree and drink ice cold beer or lemonade while he works his @$$ off.
i did that to a neighbor of mine many years ago. he would gripe and complain about me cutting my lawn at 8 a.m. on a saturday(the only time i could do it), so i told him he could either mow it for me, or shut the heii up.
never heard another peep out of him.

it's too early if your neighbor works nights. If he just wants to be a jerk, mow it! Many cities have noise laws and you can't mow before 8 am during the week or 9am on weekends.

Actually 9 a.m. is a very reasonable time. It is best to get it done before the heat comes. You're neighbor is just anal. Don't worry about them.

NO, it is not! Most people are at work, so it is a fine time. Tell your hissy neighbor to get over it.

no! it's too darn hot afterwards. And on Monday people should be at work or at least awake so it shouldnt disturb anyone. your neighbor should take a chill pill (i just found out there actually are those- i'm not caught in the 90's i swear)

my backyard has to attend till the wekend because i bypass to artwork at 5am mon-fri and my neighbours have little ones so that they are up early too I always discover that I mow my backyard round noon or 1pm because my next door neighbour mows theirs round that aspect so i'm not bothering them or waking them up If that is raining then I even ought to anticipate more suitable useful climate because I have an electric powered mower and that is harder to reduce moist grass yet when that is in basic terms damp I wait till round 2pm-3pm
