heaven is neither punitive or reformatory, it's a reward

in what way could heaven be either punitive (what sort of punishment?) or reformatory - how do you reform someone that has been good enough to get there in the first place?
and hell, does it matter? Actually it is punitive - you don't hear of people being transferred for good behaviour!

If they are punitive the idea will take away some of the Omniscience, Omnipresence of God. The very idea of Hell ruled by Satan indirectly suggests his equality with God. Darkness cannot have independent existence It is just absence of light. The stories of hell are all medieval inventions for disci;lining a evolving society and Heaven another in luring them to follow ootherwise unjust rules.
