lose money from exchange rate. Food is horrible, but theres lots of indian restaurants out there. They drive on the wrong side of the road. They have TONS of bank holidays. They know how to have a good time (from the friends I have).
And this is from Eurotrip, but its so true, they really are on a whole other level of cursing over there, its freakin brilliant!!!
I believe you can have dual citizenship, so you dont have to give up your american citizenship. The price of living is more expensive that is for sure. Hope you have a good education as well. Try finding a job before you move over there though.
Im trying for my french citizenship and its hard as a mothertrucker. and my dad was born in France and was in the military as well, as well as my grandfather during WWII and im struggling to get one, but hopefully soon i'll be able to become a citizen. It takes a lot of hard work. Call the local English Embassy and ask them for information about becoming a citizen.
You can get a work visa for 2 years. You can't reapply for a new one though. So hopefully in those two years you could meet someone, LOL! Thats another option.

Good luck!
