Hey i hope these ideas help you....

I answered the same thing to woman yesterday who works alot with a kid....these are all good and easy...

Get bunches of boxes of pasta, italian dressing, tons of veggies, pre cooked chicken strips (not frozen), beans (lima, chickpea, butter ...in a can, drained) After you get home from the grocery store, even if its a pain, prepare the veggies and put into veggie bags for easy grab.

On any given night, make some pasta, drain, do not rinse, add some or all of the above mentioned and have a pasta salad.

You could sub the pasta for rice, sub the dressing for any sauce you like.....chinese, mexican, salsa, terriaki, anything, and have an instant stri fry.

Shrimp is cheap!!!! Buy shrimp, parsley, lemon, green onion, garlic, spaghetti noodles (or whatever you prefer), olive oil, real sticks of butter.

Heat butter and olive oil (equal parts) in a pan, add garlic and onions, cook 5 to 7 minutes, add lemon juice, green onion, heat a minute, add shrimp, cook till pink, add boiled noodles and toss, add fresh parsley and serve with salad and bread (garlic).

Thsi is an awesome bagel sandwich: spouts, provolone, cucmber, red onion, tomato, dill sauce (in the dressing isle, but a bottle of dill dressing), you could add turkey or ham. toast bagel, add stuff, awesome dinner. You could also add all that to a tortilla and roll up.

I have a ton of recipes in my answers, please browse there for more!!!

Good luck man

Anyone can grill or saute boneless chicken breasts (on the grill or in a pan with a little olive oil) and toss a salad.

Also, you can buy decent frozen fish...like tilapia. Pan saute it in minutes (in a little olive oil). Add a salad and some fruit or a frozen veggie.

Cook some pasta...it too is fast and easy (simply boil per package directions). Add some pre made spaghetti or marinara sauce. Paul Newman's is delicious. Again, fix a salad or some good bread from the store/bakery.

Those prepackaged complete crock pot meals are extremely simple and very healthy. Again, all you'd have to add is a salad.

Grill a bunch of chicken breasts. Slice, freeze on a cookie sheet, then toss frozen slices in a zipper freezer bag. These are now available for q quick nuke to thaw, or overnight thaw in fridge.

Use in fajitas
Make a stir-fry
pasta dishes w/ a packet of Knorr pasta sauce
Serve on top of a big salad
Make into chicken salad
Make chicken tortilla soup
Lettuce wraps w/ chicken inside
King Ranch Chicken Casserole

You might also make a big pot of veggie-beef soup. Cook stew chunks until tender, then simmer in beef broth (buy it canned). Then add a couple bags of frozen mixed veggies, an onion, a few small red potatoes, diced up, maybe some celery, a can of chopped tomatoes, and a bag of cole slaw mix (cabbage adn carrots). Let simmer. This can be stored in yoru freezer in 2 cup portions (or whatever size is good for you) so you can always have it for a quick meal w/ veggies and meat all in one. Make some toast or eat crackers with it to round it out.

Mcdonald's salads. :P no not really. Try soup. They come in cans and are fast and easy. Sandwiches are good if yoyu make them w/ 100% whole wheat bread, meat, and some kind of veggies. Microwavable foods or food you can put in the oven and eat works well too.

Salads are pretty easy to make especially if you buy a salad pack. You can add other veggies, a hard boiled egg, and some tuna or baked chicken. It's pretty fast and really easy to make.
