Just curious on the moms who feel like single moms, because hubby is never home. I love it and hate it at the same time. Have 2 toddlers....and some days really suck. How do you deal with the bad days?

And remember, they aren't doing it to keep away from you and your gracious caring of the beautiful kids, they hate it too, as I did. They are doing it to provide for you, I wish there was a way to make money enough to support a family, and save for your kid's upper education, plus be with them at the same time. I know there are some ways, but not many. Be proud of them, and be good to them. Believe me they are thinking of you and the babies while they are working. Ron Couch

You try and keep yourself busy, My hubby is in the military, so he works around the clock, and I have a toddler as well. Other times you feel like pulling out your hair, so I call family at home and talk. But you are right most days do just really suck!!!

Well good luck there. My husband also worked away from home, only home on the weekends, with toddlers, it was hard, and we ended up divorced when the kids were 4 & 5, We grew apart. Just make sure your weekends are special, and get a babysitter.. for time alone.

YEP, I know just what you mean! My husband is gone most of the week also, it does suck but the kids and I do things together and I have my job during the day to keep me busy. My kids are older but you can still get yours out and do things with them. I also visit friends or family or have them visit me. I also make sure I am "REAL" tired when I go to bed "alone" cause that is when it sucks, the kids are asleep and its all quiet if you aren't dog tired you can think about it and it drives you nuts. hope this helps you some.

i know how you feel hon. My hubby comes home every night but he leaves for work at 5 in the morning and doesn't get home till after nine at night, and i have three kids under seven. I'll normally take the girls somewhere were they can play safe but i can relax a little, or put them to bed and turn the radio up loud and a long bubble bath. or if all else fails lock yourself in your room and cry, it makes me feel better
