how to grow to your expected height?

I was predicted to grow much taller(5'8), but stupid me went on a diet when I was in puberty, and now I am only 5'3. I just turned 20, is there any way I can grow taller? I won't hesitate to take pills if they really work.

well, I did almost starve myself everyday. I kept my calories intake under 1000, made sure I burned off every calorie I ate, and slept only 3 hours a night. I was always the "big feet" in class...and I still have big feet(i wear 8). The doctor sort of predicted I will be around 5'8, but I thought I cared more about being fat than short back then. well, I wasn't even fat. what can i say, stupid me.

I doubt that your diet had any affect on your growth. But women grow till they are 25. You have time but I don't think you will make it to 5'8" seeing as though after puberty (especially at 20) most people in general don't grow all that much more.

Be happy with your height... I'm 5'9", do you know how difficult it is to find a guy taller than I???

You'd have to be on a really severe diet to actually cause your body to stop growing ... near the point of starvation, for an extended period of time.

Who "predicted" that you would grow to be five inches taller than you are? Nobody on this planet has that ability.

There are no pills that can make you grow taller. My advice is to work on your mind instead, and try to have a better attitude about yourself.

It doesn't seem likely that going on a diet during puberty can cause you to lose 5 inches in height. One explanation might be that the prediction was just totally incorrect and you hit your growth spurt early. Otherwise, there might be some other underlying physical cause. You should see your doctor if you are really worried.

No, once your done with purberty thats it. My brother was suppose to be over 6'0 when he was a teenager. He didnt get enough sleep like the doctor warned him and now he is short. I went to sleep every chance I had and grew to be 5'8'' in a half. Just wear heels, not much else you can do.

You hurt your chances to grow taller. There is really nothing you can do now. Just be sure to eat right, exercise, and get plenty of sleep. All you can do is keep yourself HEALTHY.

at 20 yrs of age you probably will not grow in height any more, don't blame yourself for going on a diet when in puberty, that probably had nothing to do with your current height

Hey 5'3 isn't so bad... besides tall girls fall a lot... And there are no pills that you can take... The only know treatment is Human Growth Hormones "HGH"... these are shots that only a Doctor can give you... they are expensive but might work... good luck...
