Illegals while there most likely at present time Hispanic can be from anywhere so not sure how this is a racial issue. Immigration rather legal or illegal needs to be controled in a fashion that is beneficial to the people that are already Americans.
Another thing to remember, the United States is in a unique situation to were about 5 billion people right now from anywhere would love to live here but is that realistic and at what cost would that be.
Also yes we could absorb all these extra people at the expense of the enviroment are gourgeous national parks since we would have cities touch cities everywhere, plus are standard of living would go down. Remember the 290 million Americans due to standard of living uses 28 times the resources than the over billion people crammed into India. So people learn some facts.

Yes, you are racist if you treat the illegals in a different way or in the way that you don't like to be treated.. Remember, you are a legal immigrant,, all Americans are legal immigrants. Those people who are illegal here are because they didn't follow the law of completing the paper work but they will always remain human beings and have legs, hands, and a head just like you..
by the way, illegals here help America a lot from the cheap labor to paying taxes.. All illegals pay taxes when they buy anything but none of them receive any social security benifits.

Not necessarily racist. Really it depends upon your motivation. But I must ask you: is it the fact they are breaking the law that bothers you? And if so what if the law that they were breaking were repealed? Would that change your mind about the same act? I do understand the frustration some people have about large numbers of people coming in and getting on welfare but in my mind the problem is the welfare, not the fact they are in the country. I have more respect for a hard worker who came into the United States illegally and is doing something productive than I do for a lazy native-born American who does nothing productive, doesn’t even TRY to get a job and collects welfare.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't your ancestors take this land from Native Amercans not too long ago? I just want to laugh every time I see Anti-immigration campaign. I wonder how the Native Americans feel about this. Hmmm.
Honey, your ancestors were legal from ellis island because the law was 100 times more lenient back then. If the same law had applied, then your ancestors could have been illegal.

No...it does not make you racist. I am betting you are a concerned citizen of the US. There is nothing wrong with that. There are a lot of us who are greatly upset with the situation surrounding illegal immigrants.
I am not a racist either, and I would never do anything radical. However: I do like to voice my opinion on the subject. I think that immigrants that want to live in this country should do so legally.

I fear that all of us to a certain degree are a bit "racist" as society defines the word. Every country wants to be homogenic but doesn't want to admit to it. It is human nature. Now, even though you don't want all the immigrants coming here that does not make you a racist if you can find tolerance in your heart for the immigrants that are here already. That was after all what this country was built on. Anyone that says they are not prone to stereotyping is not being honest. We all do it but it's what you do with the thought that counts. It is always harder to be a good and tolerant human being than an evil one.

I would have to say that your just discriminatory because you don't want illegal immigrants here when illegal immigrants have as much right as you do to be here. Just to get to the U.S some people barely have the money to get here and then because they are illegal they get sent back to their own country. That's just wrong. and what does "get here the right way mean"? The same way the first people got to America. They didn't have to go though all those lines to get your background checked. but why now for people of other races?

How did your ancestors come to America? Mine came over on a boat and were checked for lice and TB, then let loose on the streets of Ohio with nothing but a name butchering to show for it. No papers, no waiting period, nothing. Why are your ancestors better than the people who want to get in now? Don't they deserve the same chance that your ancestors did? If it were as easy to get in now as it was in 1850, there would be no such thing as an illegal alien.
For those who say that the US is overpopulated, the entire world's population could fit in Texas, and each person would have more than 1,000 square feet. That is a 2,000 square foot house PER PERSON double story!!! Tell me that we wouldn't be able to grow enough food on the entire rest of the planet to support one big Texas-sized city. That's what I thought.

Being black or gay has nothing to do with this issue. If you don't mind legal immigrants, why don't you give the illegal ones a chance to become legal?

An Illegal immigrant can come from any of the 200+ different countries in the world.
I don't think you need to prove yourself to anyone, as long as you have personal integrity about your opinion. Just try not to get into a fight.
