im 13 and im 5'3 and thighs are huge!

There's really no way to lose weight on just one part of your body. If it's only your thighs that are a problem, running or swimming or any aerobic workout will be great. If not, you may have to lose weight elsewhere before your thighs take notice and start slimming down themselves.

It may be easy for me to say, and difficult for you to hear, but if I were you, I wouldn't worry about it too much, provided that you are in pretty good shape in general. There's no reason to believe you don't have quite a few more inches of growth left in you, so it's really too soon to start obsessing over a body that really hasn't decided what overall shape it's going to take.

If you want to be lean and beautiful over your lifetime, probably the best thing you can do is get a good deal of walking in (or running, if you're up for it) and avoid fried foods like they were poison. Eat all the vegetables you can stand, plus a little bit more after that.

And please don't trip too hard on your thighs. They say 13 is an 'awkward' age, and this is just the sort of thing they're talking about. Smile and you'll always be beautiful.

I am the same way!! I'm 13 and my thighs are big to. I have not really tried this but........you get down on the floor and do leg lifts. I don't know how many days that you have to do it though?! You do like 10 on each side!

Stretch a hell of a lot, pilates, high reps with low weights, and upper body conditioning. The upper body will level out the lower body with any 10 - 12 week schedule

not only will you get in some exercise you re less likely to choose something unhealthy after a little movement

i used to have the same problem and now that im 14 they've changed. getting taller will slim them and i do ballet exercises. exercises that tone the inner thighs and outer thighs will slim them. or that could just be where your body stores fat, like me.

do some running like run for a half an hour a day for 5 days a week. you will also build up calf muscles
