I just read in a magazine article that jump roping can help tone the entire body...do you have any more info or experience that you can share with me?

jumping rope is great cardio exercise, which burns fat. Plus it tones you all over as well.

It's an excellent form of exercise, but unfortunately it's hard to do. Nearly anyone can run for 10 or 15 minutes but jumping rope will really leave you winded.

If you don't have basic jump roping skills, don't be shy about jumping rope without actually using a rope; or, if people are watching, cut the rope right in the middle and it will look to them as if you were actually jumping rope.

I heard thourgh the gravevine that 5 minutes of jump rope is more effective that running a mile and 1/2

TOTALLY ...its the BEST exercise for the WHOLE body (because you are working and using like all of your body muscles) .... and its really easy to do!

yeah, it's way good! i heard that jump roping for 2 minutes is the same work out as running a mile...i'm not a hundred percent sure though haha. but it feels like it! it's pretty hard to keep going, but it's really worth it and i'ts funner than running. try it :)

i dont do it personally, but it seems like it would. rotatin ur arms works arms logically, jumpin works ur legs and consitent jumpin helps strengthen ur heart and lose fat.
