atheists dont know what they want out of life, that we are confused and lonely?

Because they do not understand atheist. Atheist are considered the lowest of the low. Its just ignorance. I think atheist, considering I am one, are just the opposite of confused and lonely. I also find them to be a tad more moral in life.

I have never heard this before, but my guess is that religion has made an impact in some way on these people, maybe made them less lonely. They liken their own experiences by thinking that without their religion, they would be confused and lonely and so make the assumption that all atheists are.

because people are close minded and can't imagine life without God. They see atheists as being deluded because they can't see the "Truth" as they call it. Don't pay attention to the closeminded judgemental ones. If you are happy in your life that's all you need. by people I mean the ones who say those things. Most people on here are pretty friendly but there's some out there that remind me of Mandy Moore in Saved...

well by believing in god or not its own decision and about other people thinking can affect you or make you stronger depending on what way you look at it, i think that the other people the would say something like that they woul think that they are fans of the religion they beleve in its not so good to think that much about it just make your own believes and that way youll be happy, by the way i heard it but i didnt put much into it.

i've never heard that, but people say things about other people and their religion because they re confused and don't understand their beliefs.

I personally am Christian, and I don't say that. I say believe what you want, it's your life and no one should judge you.
