INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1/2 cup chunky or smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 375°.
Cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light. Add the egg and mix until fluffy.
Blend the flour, baking powder, soda and salt together well. Add these dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Add the chocolate chips.
Drop cookie dough by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 375°.

PREPARATION:
Cream butter and peanut butter in a large mixing bowl. Gradually beat in granulated and brown sugars, beating until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Into another bowl, sift together the sifted flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir into the creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheets. Lightly flatten each with the back of the spoon. Bake peanut butter chocolate chip cookies at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.

1 cup butter or margarine, room temperature
1 cup chunky peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups flour (or 1 cup white and 1 cup whole wheat)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup raisins (or 1/2 cup raisins and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Spray baking sheets with Pam or grease baking sheets with butter.
In a large bowl cream butter with peanut butter using electric beaters on medium speed. Beat in sugars and eggs until smooth. Add flour and baking soda. Stir in chocolate chips and raisins (and walnuts, if using).
Drop batter by teaspoonfulls onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inchs apart (these spread a lot).
Flatten cookies slightly with a floured fork, making criss-cross marks with fork, if desired.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
Cool on racks before serving.

Buy the Toll House chocolate chips on the back is a choc. chip recipe, use that and just add peanut butter chips, those should be by those chips !
