It is milligrams per metered square. I am a cancer nurse and this is how we adjust chemotherapy doses. We give so many milligrams of a certain chemo drug based on the pts height and weight which made short is meters squared.

milligrams divided by meters squared.

this does not make sense to me as a dosage. I would think a dosage would be mg/mL (milligrams per milliliter). That is a common dosage. I hope this helps.
