For me, it's a toss up between Vancouver and Toronto.

My favourite place has to be Vancouver. It has everything from mountains on one side where you can ski on 3 or 4 separate mountains such as Whistler to the ocean with beach access directly in downtown. Locarno Beach, English Bay, Spanish Banks and many more. It's downtown is beautiful, lots of side walk cafes, hotels, good shopping , the suspension bridge in North Vancouver, museums, sports, you name it, it has it all and the weather to boot.

Screw Toronto. What a bogus wannabe poser city. People there think they are the center of the Universe. They want to be like New York but can't.

The city has the worst public transportation system ever. It's so inconvinient to get around that city with out a car. Then when you do drive, the people there all drive like idiots and feel like they own the road. Everyone there is a Maple Leafs fan and believe that no matter how crappy a team they have, that they will always have a chance at the Cup. Reality check, Torontonians, your team will never ever be good enough to make it to the Cup.

Then, the air is so bad there. So much smog and polution. All the clubs and lounges are trying to be hip and trendy. Too bad charging an enormous cover charge doesn't equate to trendy. The attitude in Toronto is ridiculous. People think they are so great, they think their jobs are the best, and that they have everything. Wake up! Let it be known that the standard of living in other Canadian cities is much better than Toronto's. Vancouver, Montreal to name two.

Then there's the 75 gun murders from 2005. Toronto kids want to be all hip hop and gangster. So they run down the street shooting each other and accidentally kill a 16 year old girl while she is boxing day shopping with her family. There's also Caribana, Toronto's excuse to fill the city with gangsters for a week. The streets get filled with a bunch of posers and G Unit wannabes trying to intimidate everyone.

I travel to Toronto once a month for work... I really wish I didn't have too. There are so many places I'd rather go. Once I'm in Toronto, I can't wait to leave.

The best Canadian cities are Montreal, Calgary, and Ottawa

It's all preference. If you wanna go big city, you're right on the money with Vancouver. It's a gorgeous place to be.

Personally, I'm pretty partial to all of Alberta that isn't Edmonton or Calgary. Those two cities are kinda like cysts on the behind of Alberta =D

Ottawa, born and raised. Very beautiful. Nice place to raise a family and if you get bored jump over the river and visit Quebec, thats something way different. Anyways I miss Ottawa, but Im going there on Friday.

Calgary. A hockey announcer (maybe Don Cherry) once said that Calgary was so flat that he watched his dog run away from home for three days!

Edmonton. Because I live there.

Banff is nice too, I used to live near Banff. Too many tourists though - otherwise beautiful (but expensive!)

Banff, because it's not too large a town and has a European feel to it, plus it's close to Banff National Park, which is gorgeous.
