All i can say is that i was JUST in 6th grade and I never studied for any tests or anything and I was a straight - A student. Basically all I did was pay attention in class and do the homework. If you do well on your homework than youll do well on your tests except homework you can look up the answers and get help but you cant do that on tests. Oh yeah - if you did okay in 5th grade than youll do fine. It was a fun year for me!

When you move into 6th grade, the teachers expect more from you! If you keep up DAILY with your homework and do not miss school, you will be fine!!! Being in school everyday is so important because once you get in these grades, the classes move so much quicker. Good luck to you!!

Well it will be harder than 5th grade but easier than 7th grade. It isn't too bad though they just seem to expect a bit more organization and independence from 6th graders just to start gearing them up for high school that is right around the corner. Trying to establish good study habits and all.

If you'll be moving into a new school system/district, it may be more challenging than you'd expect, or easier for that matter. But if you're staying in the same system, it shouldn't be that much tougher. Sure it'll be challenging, but that's the point. But like I said, if you're staying in the same district, I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's designed for what you already learned.
