Why do some girls throw themselves at you...?

Hello,

You people know how much I respect and admire women, I think they are very special creatures that deserve to find true happiness in the world, but why no matter where you go they always throw themselves at you in ways such as offering number, brushing against you etc etc

I don't want a girl that's easy I want a girl that I can treat like a princess for eternity knowing that she respects and loves me as I do her!!

Well one reason is.....because you play music. Women are for some reason obsessed with guys in bands. I have a friend who loves guys in bands, and while she doesn't THROW herself at the guys, she might offer her number or try and get herself invited to spend time with the band. I think some people see bands as a kind of "cool crowd" that they are trying to infiltrate, in order to validate themselves. For example, if they can get a guy who is in a band to like them, it really boosts their self esteem. People always idolize celebrities, and when you play in a band, you are a small scale celebrity. Plus, when you are out at bars/clubs, you are going to be around a disproportional amount of women who need attention desperately. The ones that don't see attention as much aren't as likely to be out in the first place.

I totally agree with ya! It's a turn off for alot of people. I'm a woman, and I could never stand it when guys came on to me so fast. Just like nothin, they could of just met you. There are too many like that now a days. What happened to getting to know eachother, or taking it one step at a time??? Any other way, just ruins things.
Don't give in to those type of people. They are out there. I met my husband five years ago. The whole reason I was first attracted to him, was because of his respect for women. He didn't look at me as another fine piece of *** or whatever. He found out he liked me, after he new my name...LOl No, but you know what I mean.
Don't give up. She's out there hun.
A lot of people are looking for the wrong thing. They crave the attention, and just want to feel needed in that moment. And if you are one of those respectable guys, you will be more likely to get a lot of girls hitting on you. Good luck...

I'm thinking it's because the person throwing herself at you is just like the guy throwing himself at me all the time. They are so desperate for love and attention, they don't care that it is only temporary and won't fill the hole in their soul. Try this tactic, ask her why she has to have you. Express that you are not a one night stand kind of a guy, and that you respect her and women in general too much to take sexual advantage of her when you know the relationship will go nowhere. What is going to happen next is that women from all over are going to be banging your door down to "get to know" you, so you have just substituted one problem for another.....:) Hope this helped. Nah, can't say I've ever had a girl throw herself at me thank F***!!

But I've had countless guys whistle or psst at me, like I'm some kind of cat!! Then there's the ones that shout hello Princess/gorgeous/sexy/etc and just basically pester me when all I want to get from A to B!!

So I suppose that's just as bad as being hit on all the time?!

I know exatly what you mean. I just witnessed one incident very recently. I think some of them are just loose. If you're getting that so often, you should be so used to it that you're able to just ignore them.

Maybe many women find you attractive and used the wrong way to get your attention. You know, people are so open minded these days. You should take that as a compliment. If you don't like to be "hunted" you can always tell them. All the best.

2. She thinks your a hot stud and wants to jump your bones!
3. She just broke up with her boyfriend/girlfriend and is looking for someone to fill the void or her bed for a short time

I cant say in your case buddy, but in mine its because I'm a str8 acting gay bloke, thats intouch with his fem side with out being camp, but erm did you phrase that question entirly right? or did you mean to say why do girls throw "up" at you, clarifiy that asspec and I'll get back to ya buddy, but if the forma is true, why knock it, just trea them like you wanna be treated, n be honest, girls can mace some great budys as well, should Know, Girls that I have as mates make me wish I was str8 some times as gay guys can sound like you! they have a narcissios copmplex, wow fack hell I'm the only uggers gay bloke in the uk!

They're just easy but when that's what majority of the guys go for now and days it's hard to be that different girl and to find a guy that actually doesn't like easy girls.

they obviously do not know of another way to get a man's attention, it is a bit sad really, but i guess they don't know how to express themselves verbally and with witty convo. girls aren't really like that in the UK, we certainly don't just go around offering our phone numbers around and we have a bit more class than to just throw ourselves at a man, to me that reeks of desperation and that is the best way to make a man run in the opposite direction, tho it can be quite amusing to watch, lol. don't mean to offend anyone who behaves this way but come on, a nice smile and a bit of eye contact is much better than chucking yourself at a man.

hello!some girls are desperate that way. their afraid if they dont take that chance they will never get another one. plus by all the respect you have for girls it isnt a wonder!! not tryin to throw my self at you but you do seem like you wouldnt have problems gettin girls.i guess just be nice to them and keep lookin for that special one, you'll see her when she doesnt throw her self at you!lol have a great day! cheers!
