no it's not normal to cry everyday... but you're not in a normal situation right now... a friend dying is a traumatic experience... you need time to grieve so don't worry, let it all go... but don't hol don to the pain... do you have someone you can talk to about how you're feeling? That's usually the best way to get over and deal with things... i'm so sorry that you're having a rough time, especially when your home should bring you comfort... try to find something to do, a hobby, that calms you down... reading? knitting? swimming? anything... but definitely talk to someone you trust...

Honey, how many weeks have you been crying? When did your friend die? It is normal to cry (even everyday) for several weeks after you have lost a friend. However if you are still crying after several months that is something to be concerned about. Do you have a trusted adult that you can talk too and tell them how you are feeling? The best thing you can do for yourself is to talk to a sympathetic adult about it. If you live in Canada you can talk to a counsellor for Free on the phone. Call the Kids Help Phone at 1-800-668-6868. Or online at www.kidshelpphone.ca I hope you feel better soon.

It depends how long it's been going on. Anything longer than a month means you are clinically depressed and should see a psychiatrist. Normally, whatever has happened to you, you should not be crying every single day for a long period of time.

it's normal to be grieving your loss and it's normal to be stressed about things at home..but it sounds like if it's a contiual problem you should go to a dr and see if you need some kind of stress reducing medication...or see if you have a chemical imbalance requiring medication. It may be a temporary thing..but wouldn't it be better to not be so stressed every minute of every day?

Crying every day or uncontrollable and unexplained urges to cry could be a sign of depression. You might want to ask your doctor about this next time you see him/her.

You are grieving for your friend. This is normal.. but if it continues to go on for an extended amount of time you may want to speak with a guidance counselor at your school.

yes it is. there is nothing wrong with letting your emotions out. keeping them inside you will hurt you more in the long run. that's when you go crazy. so please, let it flow. your friend is in a better place. she looks down on you and smiles all the time and you shall see her again one day in shangri-la. emotions are part of life. take on one at a time, don't overwhelm yourself, your brain can only think so much before honestly destroying itself. keep your head up and everything will turn out. God Bless My Child
