Actually, I read a true story about the family of Corrie ten Boom, who saved Jews in Holland when the Nazis took over there. They built a secret room in their house and hid them.
Once there was nothing to eat but ham, and the Jews were refusing. Just then the Nazis burst in and found them all sitting at the dinner table. They accused Mr.ten Boom of hiding Jews, but the Jews took a big bite of ham and replied, "You see us eating ham and you think we are Jews...?"
The Nazis figured they must have been mistaken, apologized and left!
