Why does it seem that every time life gives you something great, it then spoils that greatness and kicks you in the face, then, while you are down, it starts to lift you up again, and then kicks you while you are down? Why does life allow us to love, and just at our weakest and while we are in most need, it takes it from us? And no, i am not discussing death either...........

wow!! you really got hurt. ouch! sorry you went thru such pain. usually a hurt like that is betrayal. you trusted someone and they took you for a ride. sucked you in and spit you out. broke your heart and casually moved onto the next victim with no reguard for you. i am truly sorry for you that you invested your time, your heart, and your trust into this individual and they were not worthy of your efforts. that doesn't mean that there is no one out there for you that would meet you in the middle with the right intentions, heart, and trustworthiness. i hope you are brave enough to stick your neck out again and i hope you meet the love of your life! just go in slow and take your time, don't jump in with both feet and your heart, make sure you bring your head along!! good luck!!

If "life" didn't do that, it wouldn't be life, we wouldn't become the people we are, and we wouldn't have to grieve, or have ups and downs. This happens to most people, you feel like your on top of the world, like your flying, and then your wings can't carry you anymore...so the solution is to get the strength to fly without your wings. Don't fall for the traps in life....but go through the obsticals like they're no problem, because life can always be worse.

Here are some things you should know. If you rely on those things to make you happy, then there will be times that you are unhappy. Happiness and love are a state of being. they increase when you are at one with being instead of waiting for life to bring you the next happy thing. If you require a set of circumstances in order for your life to be good then you are obviously unaware of the truth about yourself beyond name and form. Each momnet is a wellspring of beauty and life. ONe thing for certain is this: all things arise and all things fall.

I think the the problem isn't "life"...the problem is you. Life is not a conscious entity that seeks to bless some and curse other. Life will go on with or without you. So stop acting like life is persecuting you and take responsibility for your own life.

In my opinion life does this in attempt to make us stronger, make us take the time to look into our own selves and define who it is that we really are. When we are given something good, we come to rely on this. We associate ourselves with it and it begins to define us. For example, when we are involved in a wonderful relationship we tend to go from Jane to Jane and Bob. We tag ourselves onto another and often loose sight of who we were to begin with. And although it hurts and we get confused when things go wrong, it is these very questions that we ask ourselves that are the true gifts from the situation. Anytime we ask ourselves life altering questions and force ourselves to answer, we become better stronger people. Bad things happen to test us and our faith in who we are.

At least that is what I believe.

Life's like a good boxer, never leaves you on your feet unless the referee separates you both so that you can stand up and so on and so forth.
