I kinda have mixed feelings about water stations. On one side I feel water stations are just another welcome to the USA invitation. It gives the illegals a sign saying we know your not supposed to be here but heres a drink of water anyway. Then I feel sorry for those with families that really need it. If the water stations were not there. The people illegally crossing the border may re consider crossing the desert.

The water stations are NOT an invitation for immigrants to come over to the US. Let's not forget that they wouldnt come here if we didn't need their labor. Jobs continue to be a major magnet of illegal immigration. I thank all these humanitarian organizations and volunteers who chose to deliver water to these areas. I my self would do it too, and if that meant I would become a criminal so be it! I am not going to let another human being die if I can help it. Its pretty simple, if I see that you are thirsty and I can help you, I will! I don't have the heart to turn my back on you. Another thing, immigration is not really a "problem" it is being used by politicians both rep. and democrats to get votes! We need immigration, and NO they don't take advantage of our social services like everyone seems to believe. They can't, they have no documents! and they DO pay TAXES and they CONTRIBUTE more than 300 billion to social security alone, and they get nothing back at the end of the year, since most "illegals" would be owed taxes! So baby-boomers now retiring thank them for the surplus! I think we need to do our research before we speak instead of listening to Fox News and letting the media make our decisions for us, pick up a book once in while people!

The water stations are taking lives in that they are a false sense of security, People set out from Mexico thinking that they can make it to the next water station...or that because a water station is there it might be mis construed as an invitation to break Americas laws...I saw a person once think she would be helping by putting food and other provisions out for illegals. It would be just more "bait" leading these illegals to their deaths in the desert sun. She wanted to name her death trap "border angels".

There should be NO water stations. When found, they should be removed. Someone should follow around behind the ones dropping off the water and just pick them back up. Water stations would mislead illegals into thinking that "yes, we are wanted here, or else why would they be helping us otherwise?" It should be illegal to make these water stations and anyone who does so should be charged with aiding and abetting.

Of course it MISLEADS illegals!!!!!!!!! They hear about water stations,so they think water is just "all over the place" out here in the desert!! Temperatures soar as HIGH as 122 degrees,in the shade!!! You can VERY quickly get heat exhaustion or heat stroke!!!!
These people that are AIDING and ABETTING in this CRIME, just give illegals false hope!!!!!! And,actually, it is directly THEIR fault, if the illegals DIE!!!!
The morgue is so FULL of bodys of unidentified ILLEGALS, that they are having to rent REFRIGERATED trucks, and just pile the bodys on top of each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So,you want to know if water stations help or hurt??? Well, just READ about how many BODYS of illegals are found here in the desert!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I think they people that set up the water stations are doing it so people will not die, that is their intent. I can see howthis can also make it seem safer to cross the desert, which is a bad idea. The sad part of this, is these are people just trying to make a life for them selves.
This is a prime example of why we need to build the wall, and make it high.

Cheeks, i do no longer understand what usa you're from yet you do not sound like you've been born and raised interior u.s., depending on the question you requested. properly, listed lower than are solutions. a million. Why do maximum human beings dislike unlawful extraterrestrial beings? All US voters (naturalized and local born) are meant to be adverse to unlawful immigration because they entered this usa illegally. they don't look US voters so that they could't impression or impression US coverage or regulation. All non-US voters pick permission from the federal authorities to enter, stay, artwork, or learn contained in the U. S.. it is the regulation. regrettably, there are distinctive those who experience they ought to easily enter the rustic illegally because they attempt to detect a better physically powerful way of existence (get away poverty, oppression, non secular freedom, and so on.). that keeps to be no reason to break the regulation. 2. on your remark, you've observed there are distinctive those who carry 0 tolerance for foreigners who stay contained in the USA of a. this isn't authentic; there are those who're very biased adverse to foreigners yet no longer maximum human beings. an similar exist in different international places besides. So do no longer confuse this with being biased adverse to unlawful immigration. there's a distinction. 3. you only pick to attraction to close why human beings have a tendency to have a bent to dislike foreigners. study determination 2 back. 4. So, why can we've a tendency to dislike unlawful extraterrestrial beings? Hmmm, Mizzshopper stated it better: do you want someone crossing over the borders illegally? Border patrol and immigration administration is area of straightforward nationwide protection. If all international places could have this then why can u.s. take care of its borders? To be straightforward, no longer all unlawful immigrants participate in not basic crimes (gang warfare, prepared crime, drug trafficking, baby prostitution, female slave commerce, homicide, and terrorism) yet a significant component do and they only exacerbate the already present kin crimes. no matter if or not they do no longer devote not basic crimes, they nevertheless entered this usa illegally.

if i give a homeless guy a quarter am i enabling an addiction?
i have a hard time being critical of charity... how many live because they found a water station? how many have died because our country chose to address immigration by guarding everything except the desert passage?
if the government did not keep people from entering the desert, please don't ask people not to try to help some of them survive. i can only offer what i have to give, and i can only help those i see who seem to need it.

For anyone out there-I think it is nice.
Does it encourage those to come is that your question? Probably more than some-who wouldn't want to chance it otherwise.
Is it needed? Yes I am sure some might die without it.
