Can I declare a truce? I won't try to convert you, and you don't try to convert me. I'll think the way I do, and you can do the same....

Yes, I am Christian. I'm not afraid to acknowledge it, and as long as others don't call me names for it, I'm perfectly willing to do the same.

I consider it incredibly rude and disrespectful to try to convert someone who isn't looking for a change. I've walked away from more than one conversation that was going there.

If someone is genuinely interested in finding out what I believe, I'm always willing to inform them, but I will never argue. At the same time, there are religions that I'm curious about- simply because I want to understand the people better.

This kind of exchange of information can be a wonderful experience, I've found that very few people can handle talking about religion with someone who "agrees to disagree"

It is a very arrogant person who thinks they "know it all". I know I don't.

Probably... It'd be a good thing to do rather than letting them waste their lives not having sex and not drinking and having them figure out when they die that it's it.

Think about how much that would suck.

We're just trying to save their souls!!

(Note: was sarcastic. Live and let live. Even though I think organized religion is kind of silly I don't normally say it unless I'm in a forum like this. Take it easy on Christians. They believe they're doing the right thing).

you can't convert me, no matter how hard you try. I've had enough experiences in my life to know that I believe is true. I don't push what I believe onto others and ask the same respect from everyone else. Thank you very much!!

A little poem we learned in school.
If you convince a man against his will he is of the same opinion still.
You can give him the facts of the matter but you cannot change anyone. Leading a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
By the way I believe in god and always will.
You could never change me.

Just ask good questions that provoke idiotic answers from fundamentalists. A lot of people will still believe in God, but you can count on a few people to go your way.

You are not capable of teaching, and don't have anything to teach yet.. Listen and learn first, Half or more of the people here are already atheists..

Why not, at least you have managed to tease and intrigue their thinking. In fact you have got them think; and atheism is a good way of questioning our faith and beliefs so as to strengthen or cast them away.

If they are weak believers, they should empower their faith, function their minds or at least they shouldn't panic or shout.

(So, Yahyaa, I really appreciate and respect your questions. I am not bribing you. I am honest.)

Be careful of your arrogance...it may come back to bite you in the rear-end...

(( Whether you choose to believe it, God/Jesus loves you...))
He seeks a relationship with you. Did you get that? He loves you and pursues you. Will you answer? Don't wait until it too late)).

I'd rather live like there is a God and die to find out that I'm wrong...than to be arrogant and live like there isn't one; only to find out...there is...and it's too late.

Grace to you and God Bless...
