Because they answer according to a very narrow conceptual framework. It's sort of like asking a tribe that only uses the concepts "one", "two" and "many" what the base of the natural logarithms is.

Because they are very narrow-minded and have been brainwashed into believing just one way - their way is the right way and there is no other way. If you don't believe their way you're doomed to hellfire and perdition - that's pretty petty and narrow-minded.
