In todays world there seems to be no such thing as morals anymore. Noone seems to know right from wrong or maybe its just that its getting to the point that noone cares, so I was just wondering what do the words morals and self respect mean to the majority of people in our country?

I would love to hear from you.

you're right, morality seems to have gone down the drain in our society. but to answer your question, morality is always doing what is good and right, and following and obeying God's commandments. self respect depends on who the person is. to me self respect is doing what is best for myself as an individual.

I'm glad im not the only one who notices the lack of morality in the world today.

Self-respect to me means to not do things you will regret, or give up your principles for a small gain or to avoid a small danger.

To the majority of people in the US morals means controlling sexuality of other people. Let's ban a TV show because it has bad morals, etc...

In my view morals is morality, which is compassion, truthfulness, and honor.
