Ex and I broke up last week. He is still in home until Thursday when he goes back to home state. We agreed to be friends and see each other every couple of months. I love him, but I knew the relationship thing was not for either of us and we both agreed to this. So I actually love him as being my friend. We are so much alike it is like the mail and female version of the same d*mn person. This past weekend was like the best time I've had with him since he relocated and we moved in together. Now I can't wait for him to leave so I'll miss him and look forward to seeing him early next year.(this is when we agrred time would permit for us to get together based on our schedules). I don't know what the future hold in regards to us getting with other people, but I like the fact that we could be friends with or without benefits. Main reason we agreed to split was he has two daughters in home state and I knew he missed them dearly as I know I would've missed my son.

as long as you 2 know you are there for each other and can still talk thats great very good relationship just dont loose him as a friend! i think you both need that and for his 2 kids im sure he misses them alot and will miss you also, just stay in touch and stay close friends and be there as much as you can for each other! good luck
