well, a fiend would never be good. A girlfriend ok, if you are ready. There is no gf store or a hang out for single girls all looking to be picked up. But there are times when you can push yourself to make friends. Being shy myself, I know the perils of trying to meet people. But if you go in just wanting friends first then it will be easier to get to the girlfriend part. First off you will already know about her likes, dislikes and you already have access to talking to her. Build from the ground up. Try going to malls, teen dances, at school, talking to a new crowd, work, if you are working...relationships start in the most unlikely places and searching wont turn one up...it will just leave you stressed. best of luck and try not to focus on your singleness right now....just work on being the best person you can and you will find someone.

find a girl you like and tell her your interested in hooking up and ask her for her number all she can do is say no shrug it off and say oh well move on next girl take the lead and act confident
