By the way, a six-month-old born baby is also unable to live on her own. Left alone, she will die. Does this make it okay to kill her?

And the woman is in what trimester? when people have a serious debate on abortion, they typically argue about at which point the fetus turns into a human. just because you have a vid of a baby in a womb, doesnt mean you have justified why not to abort.

Didn't watch the video; is the embryo doing a crossword, or something?

Of course, it's human; it's not a snake or a horse, is it? But, it's not able to live independently, and, as such, is not a person.

In fact, the unborn embryo or fetus is clinically much more like a tapeworm, or other parasite: it draws nourishment from the host, provides no benefit to the host, and is unable to live on its own.

Remember, you DID ask how I could justify abortion!

If you don't agree with abortion, then you don't have to have one; after all, I wouldn't dream of legally requiring you to live the way I do!

According to the Catholic Church (up until recently IE: when abortion became legal) The soul enters the body at the first breath. Also the Bible says at birth. I do realize that babies move and exist and I do not believe in late term abortion unless the mother is in danger. That said it is a women's right to determine what she needs to do. Many times the man( husband, boyfriend) is also involved in the decision. If any one of my granddaughters got pregnant I would tell them to get an abortion. I am hoping that if s-x becomes an issue they will no how to use precautions and birth control. Sorry .

Would you rather have women killing their unborn babies:

-in a sterile medical setting, being done by a trained professional, to keep the chance of harm or infection to the mother to a minimum

-in a dirty back alley, by some untrained dude with a rusty coathanger, dramatically increasing the chance that the woman will die too?

I know you'd rather have neither, but if you honestly had to pick, I would go with the first one. Just face it, abortion is always going to happen, just as murder and rape is always going to happen. You are not going to make it go away just by outlawing it...I mean, look what happened with murder. People are murdered every day, the law didn't stop anyone from doing it.

In some cases (Rape, Medical, Incest) abortion is a necessary evil to save the life or sanity of some women. Have you ever sat with some of these women. Have you talked to some that had to for reasons?

If you willingly spread your legs and made a child that is opne thing, but if it was forced or if having this child threatens your life you have a choice to abort the child.

I have spent time with rape victims at a crisis center, some preggnant, they feel like a monster is inside of them, others feel it's a gift from god. it's very personal and it should be up to the woman to make the choice.

Being pro choice isn't about defining a fetus as a human or not. Pro choice people aren't necessarily for abortion, but for a woman's choice to have the baby or not. I could be flat out against abortion, but I don't feel that I have a right to tell another woman what she can or can't do with her body. Pro choice is about CHOICE not abortion.

I will be always be pro choice no matter what video, picture or other rhetoric you or anyone else shows me.

Hey Mamacita, How about this justification?

You've just been raped by an HIV positive troglodytic hermaphrodite with downs syndrome and a scorching case of herpes.

Your doctor has just told you that the baby has not developed a brainstem and will never progress past being a vegetable, and you have just been told that due to complications, there is a good chance you will die giving birth to this aids infected vegetable baby.

The case for being pro-choice is so overwhelming.

Why don't you look at the children unloved and unwanted in orphanages or the children starving on the streets.

Let's turn our attention to the human beings that are here already.

Society does not need more children; but it does need more loved children. Quite literally, we cannot afford unloved children - but we pay heavily for them every day. There should not be the slightest communal concern when a woman elects to destroy the life of her thousandth-of-an-ounce embryo. But all society should rise up in alarm when it hears that a baby that is not wanted is about to be born. ~Garrett Hardin

Rape.

when you know the birth will kill the mother, or the baby will be 100% stillborn.

Those are the only reasons in my mind.

edit for answer below me
"how do you feel about a 12 year old mother? "
I think that if shes having sex, then have the baby. Ignorance is no excuse, to ME saying that is like telling the child there are no consequences.
