Banana Split Smoothie

This smooth and creamy beverage tastes just like a banana split.

2 medium ripe bananas
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup unsweetened sliced fresh strawberries or sliced frozen unsweetened strawberries
2 tablespoons honey
5 ice cubes
whipped topping, for garnish
chocolate syrup, for garnish
maraschino cherries, for garnish

In a blender, combine the first five ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Gradually add ice, blending until slushy. Pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with whipped topping, chocolate syrup and cherries.

John's Favrotie Smoothie#1

16 ounces lemon yogurt
2 cups milk (skim, fat free, rice, goat's or soy)
6 ouncves frozen orange juice, slightly thawed

A. Combine all the ingredients in a blender.
B. Process until smooth
C. Chill or serve immediately over ice (or with out).

Makes 4 servings!

1 1/2 cups apple juice, chilled
1/2 cup strawberries, frozen
1/2 cup raspberries, frozen
1/4 cup blackberries, frozen
1/4 cup blueberries, frozen


Banana-Orange Smoothie

6 ounces orange juice
3/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1 banana, sliced
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon honey

Island Paradise Smoothie

1 1/2 cups orange juice, chilled
1/2 cup pineapple juice, chilled
1/4 mango, peeled and sliced
1/2 banana, peeled and sliced
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
1/2 cup crushed ice

Mango Orange Smoothie

1 mango, peeled,seeded,and chopped
1/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1/4 cup crushed ice
3/4 cup orange juice

Orange DreamA quick and easy drink is made by combining orange sherbet, orange juice and milk in the blender. It's poured into glasses and garnished with whipped cream and grated orange peel.Ingredients:
• 4 CUPS ORANGE SHERBET (1 QT.)
• 2 CUPS FRESH ORANGE JUICE
• 1 CUP MILK
• WHIPPED CREAM

Method:

4 ice cubes
1 c light cream
1` tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. plain low fat yougurt (flavored if preferred)
2 tbsp. cool whip
can add blueberries,strawberries etc, if you choose or 1/4 c. of juice (your preference)
