What a sweet question. I remember looking into my niece's eyes when she was just a baby; it was Christmas time and my sister had moved her bassinet over by the tree so she could look up and see all the pretty decorations and lights, etc. I recall looking at her and smiling, and she smiled back with this light, just like you mention. I thought, before they can talk...they are so very close to Jesus! I think God's spirit shines very brightly in tiny babies.

I did not believe people had a light in their eyes, I had always assumed it to be refraction from ambient light. I do now see the light in peoples eyes for I've had the misfortune to see it flicker out. That is one freaky sight. It has added to the mysteries that seem to swirl endlessly around us all. Until something is presented to me I tend not to acknowledge it but once I see I can not unsee. I think it may be the mind/soul/consciousness (whatever fits your grab bag of making it all make sense) looking out and taking in the sites. Sure seems so to me.

Reflections???? And, for the record, twinkling light reflrctions are always sharpest on clean water. Most babies mostly drink water and milk.......

they holy spirt also known as god or jesus or savoir or ect..
babies if they die will go to heaven because they dont be born and know who jesus is and it doesn't matter who there parents are i have light in my eyes becaus i am filled with the holy spirt!! he has brightened my life with knowing i will go somewhere so great when i die we cant even amagine when we are alive
