I need to edit some mp3 voice files. can anyone reccomend some freeware for doing this. not looking for anything with a bunch of sound effects or whatever. i just need to do some cutting and pasting. already checked out wavepad, but it apparently doesn't give you the option to save, or work with more than one file at a time. operative words,,, free and simple. lol thanks

Try Sound Recorder that comes standard with Windows. It looks simple, but can actually do quite a bit. It can be found under Programs => Acessories => Entertainment => Sound Recorder.
