how do i know if he actually likes me?

ii have only talk to this guy for the past month or so, but he is in the army and is in iraq so i have never met him. but here lately he has been sayin hi hun annd by hun anytime we talk on instant messanger. i have noticed that he even seems to stay up until i get home from class to talk to me before he goes to bed. how do i know if he likes me or just likes havin someone to talk to

also does it mean anything that he wants to see me when he gets back to the states from iraq

There is nothing to do in Iraq. He is bored out of his skull.

The good news is you get to find out a lot about how he thinks.

The bad news is that he may walk away from you when he gets back to the US if he doesn't like the way you look.
