I call 911, someone is breaking into my shed?
So I call them and tell them someone is breaking into my shed in back of my house. They tell me police are busy and it could take them up to an hour to respond. So I hang up. I call back and tell them I shot the MOFO breaking into my shed, four cars arrived in under 2 minutes. What's the deal with that?

I saw a dateline or 20/20 where the guy was upset because
his IQ was too high for him to be hired as a cop.
Could this be the proof?!

I hope you are joking.
What you just did was caused them to divert the resources from other critical emergencies. Because of your lie, someone else may be shot or dead. Of course they'll come quickly when they have a reason to believe a person's life is at stake, and there is a good possibility of armed conflict. That's quite different from property crime. (in shed? lawn mower theft?)
They can arrest you if you call them with a false pretence.

Well , did they get the person ? Well once you said that you shot someone , it becomes priority one. But I wonder are you getting into any kind of trouble for what you said. But if that was the only way you could get them there ......well good luck next time . It is not good to cry wolf to often. Next time get a camera and a gun, and film the fool in your shed.

Well if someone is breaking into your shed to them that is pretty minor. They steal a rake, a lawn mower big deal. If they hear that someone gets shot, well, that's the kind of stuff that gets their adrenaline pumping. That's what they live for.

did this really happen to you? it wouldn't surprise me, when i have to call them for something and they tell me it will be a while, i have to tell them they need to send someone over now or I'm taking care of it myself. it brings them pretty quick.
