Get a job and accept responsibility. Raise your baby right and don't let them do what you and the mom have done. Teach them about birth control.

Ok first of all.. disregard many of these 'answers'. I'm sure you are fully aware of the mistake you made. Learn from it. You messed up but its ok, life goes on. You have a few options. Adoption is one of them. You are still a child yourself, however at 14 I was incredibly mature. I would have hated taking care of a child but I know without a doubt I could have done it. Unfortunately thats not always the case, so I would strongly suggest this option, especially if the mother is just as young. If the baby stays in your life, continue schooling but get a job after school, sounds like it sucks eh? Such is life, you were old enough to produce a child, you're old enough to take on the responsibility of fathering it. Be a good father, there are too many children these days without fathers.. don't be like all the other cowards who run away. Face your challenges head on. Stay in contact with the mother if the parents will allow it. Child support will inevitably be expected of you, and yes you can go to jail for not paying it because It's considered abandonment. Keep a good relationship with your parents, they're your most valuable allies right now.
Time to start growin up.

Adoption. Contact a reputable social service agency like the Lutheran or Catholic Family Services and arrange for you baby to be adopted by a stable married couple.

This advice is for both you and the baby's mother. Neither of you should be parents. Adoption is the kindest and most loving and UN SELFISH thing the two of you can and must do!

Fourteen is way to young to be a mom or a dad. You need to finish growing up! Fourteen is eighth or ninth grade. You need to graduate from high school which is four years in the future. You need to learn marketable job skills, get a job and maybe when you're twenty something then get married to a stable, hard working young man and then, and ONLY THEN have children.

And if you are a fourteen year old BOY who fathered a child, you and your parents should get together with the child's mother and HER PARENTS and take care of the paperwork needed for making the adoption of the child as quick and easy as possible.

There are many stable married couples who can give your child a stable home with a loving mom and dad.

Children should not raise children.

The same thing a 30 year old parent would do. ........
Tend to the needs of your child. This means staying up late with fevers, missing out on going places just for fun, staying up when you want to sleep because the baby is up and wide awake, spending money on diapers when it could have been for a new pair of shoes for yourself or a ticket to the movies with friends.

Doesn't pay after all to be so grown before it's time, huh.

Wow...having a kid at that young of an age can mess up the rest of your life. I mean you can't go out anytime because you have to stay and feed the baby and whatnot compared to just asking your parents to go out and them saying yes. Well my advice to you is to take responsibility for your kid. Don't be another one of those fathers who deny their kids when they know they fathered them.

Good ideas at this point in your life would be:

-finish high school
-get someone MATURE to help you raise your child
-don't get involved in anymore relationship until you are OUT of high school
-don't have anymore children
-learn basic responsibilities involved in raising a child, such as diapers and discipline, and health
-learn from your mistakes and become a better person

Time for you to get a vasectomy. If you are already fathering children out of wedlock I foresee a lot of appearances on TV talk shows unless you do. You obviously can't keep it zipped up.

You should kick your own ***. Babies making babies, when will all this nonsense stop. I hope that girl's mother make you pay every penny of child support. What the hell was you thinking, getting a child was going to make a man out of you.
