This is what God's Word says_ Ephesians 5:22: " Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord."
Ephesians 5:23 : "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body."
Ephesians 5:24: "Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing."
Titus 2:4,5: "That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed."

But husbands also have laws to obey in regard to their wives.

Ephesians 5:25 : "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;"
Ephesians 5:33: "Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself;--"
Colossians 3:19 : "Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them."
1 Peter 3:7 : "Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered."
If husbands do as they are commanded in the Bible, then their wives will not mind submitting themselves to them, and their marriage will be better because of it.
Mine has lasted 32 years. God created the marriage arrangement, so who better to say how husbands and wives should treat each other. It has worked for me.

Many places.

Genesis 3:16
Ephesians 5:22-24
Colossians 3:18-19
Titus 2:5
1 Peter 3:1-5

Each, however, emphasizes that while women should be obedient and respectful to their husbands, this is supposed to be a two-way relationship. Husbands should love their wives and treat them gently. Together, they should be partners, giving support to each other and helping each other as in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12. They should be an example of Christ's love to the world.

The husband should obey God and love, honor, and protect his wife as he would his own body (Ephesians 5:25-31). The flip side of that is that the wife should obey God and submit to her own husband as "unto the LORD" (Ephesians 5:22). The marriage between a man and a woman is a spiritual picture of the relationship between Christ and the church.

well You asked about the wives, but this is also balanced out by instructions for the husbands to love their wives as their own bodies. So don't think that this is a one way street for husbands to be dictators..
1Peter 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
Eph 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Eph 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
Col 3:18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

Hooray for Diamond Doll, she is the ONLY one who got it correct, amazingly.
Even more amazingly is how ignorant all the other poster are of what the Bible actually says.

My advice to the other dummies is : Quit making a fool out of yourself by trying to answer Bible questions until you actually LEARN what the Bible says!

In corinthians.

Some christians like to imagine that paul was only refering to women in a certain church, but that's actually not the case. He meant all women. If you look at his other writings, he doesn't think too highly of women.
