My heels are so dry, they crack & sometimes bleed. I've used all kinds of creams & they are peeling. If I pull the skin off it bleeds. I also sand them down with files. Do I have athletes foot? I also have brown stuff on my big toes and white stuff under all my toe nails. Please help!

you need to see your doc or a podiatrist....it sounds that whatever it is is past the point of treating with OTC meds...there are some foot creams on the market that help with releaving the dryness..look in the pharmacy section in walmart or walgreens....but best thing to do is see a doc first so you will know at least what you are dealing with...sounds like a bad fungal infection...which can take months to clear up....

first see a doctor , i have used a lot of stuff out there but I've found that a good old jar of vaseline works the best if your feet ankles and legs swell you need to control the swelling with a pair of support hose wash and dry your feet thoroughly and using a small cloth apply vaseline very thinly on your heels and wear a good pair of white cotton socks the best time is overnight and by the way some larger retail stores sell socks with moisturizer in them the vaseline is the best and cheapest and most effective in dry skin
