I'm 37 now and my hairs been going for about 8 years...
I've been using Nioxin (shampoo and treatment) for about 5 years and it has SLOWED it down big time... I've always bout it at Wal-mart (NOT on the shampoo isle, in the hair salon that's usually in the front of the store). It ain;t cheap (about $40), but it lasts about 5-6 months... like I said, it has definatley slowed it for me AND a friend of mine, but we've both decided, screw it, when it's gone, it's gone... Good Luck!

Start using Rogaine Right away! It STOPS the Hair Loss process in 80 to 90% of people who use it withing the first few months. It may not do as good "regrowing" hair as far as percentages... but it will Definitely STOP IT from Continuing! I'm telling You this from Experience. After You get that part under control, have Your Doctor Prescribe for You "Propecia" or "Proscar", to Bring the Hair back again.

I don't think there is much you can do. My 19 yr old brother's hairline is already receding. When did your father and grandfathers start losing their hair? If they started losing their hair young, then so will you as it is heriditary. Try visiting a good barbers and ask them to cut you hair in a style that suits your 'baldness'. If you think it could be something other than balding eg. stress etc then try going to the doctor.

DON'T buy any silly creams!

It might be normal, people lose at least 60 hairs everyday. But if your hair is falling out in chunks, then its best you see a doctor, or treat it with Aloe Vera (makes hair grow more quickly) or Rogaine.

Start by seeing a dermatologist. There is no way to know how to treat your hair loss, or even whether treatment is possible, without knowing the cause.

all you gotta do is go to like a pharmaceutical store and buy a special shampoo. buy the one that says JASON Natural Cosmetics Thin-to-Thick hair & scalp therapy Hair Thickening Shampoo. it's a blue bottle. buy both shampoo and conditioner. each one cost about $9. use them for about two weeks. it works for me but i don't know if it'll work on you. give it a try. hope this helps.
