Use an airplane. A website won't get you anywhere. :)
Actually, hotwire, travelocity, and priceline are the best- and potentially even the airline themselves! I've occasionally beat the best travel sites by simply going to delta.com Not always, but sometimes. Compare and good luck!

watch the service charge b4 you bid!
Much cheaper than booking with the usual sites.
Another tip if you use expedia.com, orbitz.com, priceline.com etc. find the flight you want, then go directly to the airlines website. you can save yourself the booking fee and it sometimes is cheaper for the base fare.

not to be rude But non of the web site mentined give a good prices , i my self is a travel agent and most of the time : travel agent find way better and cheaper tickets that thoses travel web site, U want my advice seek a local travel agent.

Kayak is the most inclusive. Although Southwest Airlines doesn't permit its fares to be listed. Kayak wins since it includes all the other sites so you don't have to surf around. (Have never tried Priceline since the flying is too uncertain.)
