What were your favourite sweets from your childhood. Mine were the red liquorice sticks and also the pink american cream soda which we used to dip a black liquorice in. Does anyone remember jubblies which were frozen orang juice in a pramid shaped carton. I think they are making a comeback.

I remember the pyramid shaped cartons of frozen orange - but were they reall y called jubblies -that sounds rude -or if not something Del Boy made up

My fave sweets were the original curly wurlies that used to crumble and fall to pieces! Also do you remember the Texan bar - the advert used to have a bloke going up to a mexican and going on about "hey Gringo" .. Only remember taht because I used to get teased at school about my haircut and they used to call me Gringo because I looked like the mexican

You look too young to remember pink american cream soda!

Wow. There are so many to choose from. Pop Rocks, Spree, Red Hots, Sweet Tarts, Life Savers, the Big Jolly Rancher Sticks, and those giant straws filled with powdered candy.

Yes ,I remember Jubilees.... they were lovely. I also remember the little packets of white sherbert powder with a liquorice "straw" to suck it up and it used to hit the back of your throat and nearly choke you. Red anniseed balls were great too. and Wagon Wheels (they were bigger than they are now) I also loved Nibbits they were savoury chip sticks not sweets . Everything seemed bigger and better years ago.

Sherbert flying saucers, Blackjacks. Gobstoppers and peardrops. Great after a swim in the local baths on a Saturday morning. Happy memories.

I enjoyed junior mints and Milky Way, but I was fortunate enough to have a mother and grandmother who were both chefs. We would delite in cheesecakes and the most incredible chocolate mousse you could ever dream of, but my favorite by far was just the old-fashioned chocolate chip cookie.

I loved the candy buttons on the paper. I think that I usually ate some of the paper along with the candy buttons.

I liked those little wax bottles with the juice inside of them. It's been a long time since it had them. Oh, and the taffy with little sprinkles in it.
