Honey, the only common book is the Old Testatment which Christians share with Jews. The Jewish religion has nothing to do with the New Testament. Now go back and rethink your argument.

You ask a pertinent question, and one I have also considered. I believe that you would get two equally defendable answers from both camps. The Jews would attest that while God has promised a savior, Jesus was not the promised one, although he was a very good man. The Christians would point to a number of prophecies that announce the coming of the Son of God, and we are quite sure that Jesus fit all of these prophecies. So you see, it's not a matter of right and wrong, or of telling us that a savior was coming, but that there is a fundamental difference as to whether Jesus was that particular savior. What gets me even more is that we really don't hear about prophets, or angels, or the appearance of anything in modern days. In fact, if someone suggests that they are a prophet or an angel, we lock them away. That disturbs me.

Well, there's a problem there.
The Jews have not been the CHOSEN people for 2,000 years now. Not since Christ died. Now Christians are the chosen of God, they are called "Spiritual Israelites or Spritual Jews, with a circumscion not of the flesh, but of the heart" (Romans 2:28, 29)
So we see that while the Israelites had their chance for millennia, the Apostle Paul points out in Galatians 3:28, "There is neither Jew nor Greek (Gentile)." The resurrected Jesus Christ spoke to the congregation at Smyrna, comforting them with regard to the persecution they were receiving to a great extent at the hands of the Jews, saying "I know . . . the blasphemy by those who say they themselves are Jews, and yet they are not but are a synagogue of Satan." (Revelation 2:9).
Also, if they are so "favored" why are 10 (count them 10) of the tribes so LOST in the world that they NO LONGER KNOW WHO THEY are?

He did. But the prophesy said that the Messiah wouldn't be accepted. When the Jews accept the Messiah, the world is done. Plus, there are over 200 proofs alluded to in the Bible for the Coming of the Messiah......... Jesus didn't satisfy all of them to the Priests' satisfaction, so they declared he wasn't the Messiah.

Partial Blindness until the fullness of the Gentiles comes In
The rest of Israel were blinded (Rom11:7-8 below) to the truth that Jesus is the Messiah.
At the Sixth SEAL (Re.6:12-17), when the fullness of the Gentiles comes in, Israel will know that Jesus is the Messiah (Rom.11:25 below).
Rom.11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded (Rom.11:25 below)
Rom.11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
Rom.11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits, that blindness in part is happened to Israel (Rom.11:7-8 above), until the fulness of the Gentiles (1 Thess.4:5, Eph.2:12) be come in.

Well since the Jews don't accept Jesus as anything more than a prophet, then who's to say that they aren't right.
In the most likely scenario, Jesus never existed, so therefor couldn't be either a prophet or a godhead.

you raise a good question considering that 99.9% of Jews never accepted Jesus as anything. This is including those that lived during his lifetime and the lifetimes of those who saw him and considering that Jesus was a Jew the better question is how can Christians accept a person his own people rejected.
maybe they know something...
