A frying pan upside the head maybe???
Girlie.. you need to take the pain meds.. you aren't going to get addicted.. .but one suggestion if you do take the pain meds.. eat some fiber because the pain meds can cause constipation.. I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled and could not handle the pain.. it was awful..

Right after you get home from the surgery you should be putting ice on your face, 20 minutes on one side, then switch and put the ice on the other side for 20 minutes. You're not supposed to spit, rinse, or drink through straws (which means you cannot brush your teeth either! ew...) the first day because you do not want the blood clots in your mouth to be disturbed. You probably will have a lot of blood in your mouth anyway (I know I did), but try not to spit it out too often, because it may get worse.
You can use sea-salt or salt-water rinses to help heal the inside of your mouth. Do this starting the day after surgery, and only around three times a day (before you brush your teeth). This might sound nasty, but it felt really good for my poor aching mouth. Get a small glass of warm water (about 8oz) and add 1/8 tsp. of either table salt or sea salt and mix until the salt is dissolved. Swish the salt water gently in your mouth, or just let it sit for a while, just tilting your head to either side to cleanse the open wounds in your mouth. This will get rid of that nasty blood taste, makes your mouth feel better (at least for a little bit), and speeds up the healing process!
I wish I could help more with the pain problem, but I used painkillers, which usually just put me too sleep and made me feel sick to my stomach. If it's intense try tylenol pm which is mild, and will help you sleep for a while, plus it's non-addictive!
The good news is that you should feel better by the end of the week, be warned that the third day will be the worst, but soon enough you will be better! =)

This will sound weird but don't knock it until you've tried it.
Take a wet wascloth and put it in the feezer for a little bit.
Chew on it. It will help some.
Don't get hung up on the "all natural" thing. Dog crap is all natural. Aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid. It's made from bark. (also weird but true). Pop a few of those if you're bound and determined to stay on the "all natural" side of medication. Don't take to many though, (more than 1000 mg in 24 hours) then are potent blood thinners in higher doses. Not good when you have blood clots in the sockets back there.

To get rid of wisdom tooth pain and discomfort, the remedy is as simple as using salt water. Add a tablespoon of salt into a glass of warm water, about 12oz to 16oz glass will do. Warm water is preferred over cold water as the former is better and easier for the salt to dilute. Gargle the salt solution in your mouth especially towards the area of pain and repeat the process several times a day. That will help reduce inflammation as well as pain. In fact, salt solution is also great as sore throat remedies. You can also try chewing some gums in between as chewing gum has been known to help in reducing the pain. If that does not solve your problem or the inflammation gets worse, consult your dentist. Your dentist may have wisdom tooth pain remedies for you such as prescribing Orajel to numb the area of pain. Your dentist may also prescribe you with a course of antibiotics or anti-bacterial mouth wash that keep the inflammation down Clove oil is also good for numbing Bonjela I also found placing a strepsil on the gum and holding it there relieved the pain for a while Hot/cold compresses what ever one works best for you Rinsing regular with mouthwash works temporary

I have heard that clove oil, which you can get at the pharmacy specifically for toothache works pretty good. But you have to keep applying it. I just had my wisdom teeth pulled, and I was given Vicodin, which I did take when the pain got really bad. i found the pain comes and goes throughout the day. It did help, and it only made me sleepy, but I felt pretty clear headed. I would go with the vicodin when it gets too bad.

I just had them taken out last week. The painkillers helped me a lot but if you dont want to take them try sleeping anyway. It helps a lot when you sleep through the pain. Also keep your mind distracted, like watch a movie or something. Also make sure to ice down your cheeks a lot in the beginning. That will numb some of the pain and keep the swelling down. Hope you feel better.

There really isnt anything natural to make the pain go away. I will tell you to swish frequently with warm salt water and make sure you let the water spash over the wounds. I know its gruesome because I had mine removed but just take some ibuprofen and wash your mouth out with the salt water and it should help.

Nope. Painkillers are what you need, or you can just put up with the pain. Why worry about going 'natural' when you'll be feeling much better in a few days?

Seems odd to me that after having your teeth yanked out (doubtless with pain killer or gas) that at THIS point you're worried about an all-natural cure.
