That is great. It depends on the vitamin supplement. Is it a one a day vitamin or two to three time a day vitamin. It makes a difference. Your body will eliminate most of the vitamin's in 4 to 5 hours. You should take supplements in the same manor as eating your meals. If it is done correctly you will notice improvements fairly quickly.

Your body or your toilet system? The truth is, that depends on what type of vitamin you have purchased. If the vitamin is getting to your system it should give you energy you should feel all day long. I've taken Centrum and GNC and could never feel energized from them. They ended up in my toilet. But then I started taking a vitamin called Double X and found that it was superior. If you're not willing to spend the xtra bucks for quality, I recommend saving your money than buying something that doesn't work. A good vitamin will energize your body all day long.

Unless you are deathly ill, you won't. Vitamins work to help the body's infrastructure function well. We get our vitamins and minerals from the fruits and vegetables we eat. Because most of us don't get the 5 A Day, we take vitamins to make up for it.

In the States, we eat too much to have a severe lack of anything. Therefore you won't see the effect vitamins will have on you (thank goodness).

Well, it takes at least three days for most things to get out of your system, so it should take about that long for the vitamins to affect your system.

You may never, but it is a good thing. Only take a multivitamin and be careful about taking too many non-water soluble vitamins.

Forget about it if you are not ill. When you feel change in your systems it might be too late - vitamins are not harmless. In excessive doses they can kill you- really.

Never specifically but only as a general feeling of wellbeing over a period of time that ebbs away--again, very slowly--when you stop taking them.
