Joshman: you're absolutely right! (and i don't mean right wing!) Who needs John FAIRY? Gays shouldn't have rights, this is a CHRISTIAN value that should be upheld because I'm Christian and I lead this country, baby! Woo!

USBAPTIST: first, you can't answer a question with a question. Or didn't they teach you that in BaptistLand.
Second, I'm talking about HOW: Was it through a dream, did he send angels like Katherine Harris to Florida to ensure the victory? Is Karl Rove really a saint? It's nothing subliminable!

If there was a god, why would he chose for "his man" to win via treachery and cheating?

God didn't have anything to do with it and neither did the voters. It was decided by big business long before the start of the primaries and Gore didn't have a chance in hell of becoming President, let alone the "other" republican candidates. Here real soon the people must take back control of the political process before it becomes too late and we are no longer allowed to choose our elected officials, Oh wait, it's already too late. We the people blew it.

The whole point of life is free will and what choices will you make with free will. God's / Jesus' teachings are an attempt to teach us how to live in an evil world, i.e. free will. Maybe, W was not God's choice and via free will we made the wrong choice.
Oh yeah, and John Kerry is lame.

When was the last time you saw any deity at a voting booth. People choose among their own no deities involved. Sometimes the people choose wisely sometimes they don't. And in my own opinion, in the last election neither candidate was really qualified for the job.

God had bugger all to do with it, it's all you folks in the 'red 'states that can be thanked for it. I hope you're happy with who you elected because the rest of the free world things he's a total dipstick. Hillary's next!!!

God doesnt choose the President, the people and the Electoral College do. And, if you are actually old enough to do so, I suggest you vote.
